Award Criteria
There are two categories of awards for delegates at this year’s model: traditional and goofy.
The first category of award is the traditional award. There are three kinds of these a delegate can receive: best delegate, honorable mention, and best position paper. These awards are awarded by the following criteria:
- Accuracy in political representation
- Rhetorical skills
- Writing skills (position paper, resolution and working paper)
- Procedural use
The second category of award is the goofy award. These are awarded by the chair and decided upon by popular vote of the delegates. They are various:
- Best Dressed
- Most Likely To Become President
- Most Likely To Start WWIII
- Most Organized
- Etc.
These awards are awarded if time permits.

Dress Code
The dress code of EMUN is Western business attire.
Delegates who arrive wearing inappropriate attire will be given a warning. If they are given a second dress code warning the next day, they will be barred from entering their committee.
Delegates are expected to take into consideration the culture of the country they are representing and to respect it by not wearing inappropriate or offensive cultural attire.
